This position will work with a now-forming development team during the pre-production phase and beyond. You'll architect and implement a world-class server-authoritative infrastructure for a synchronous action multiplayer game for mobile devices.
* Experience with developing the server side of synchronous action multiplayer games * Empathy for the player experience - improvement and lag mitigation technologies * Strong understanding of networking protocols and data transfer optimizations
* Database and data caching experience * Large scale distributed infrastructure deployment experience * Experience in detecting and rectifying cheating in games
Nice to have qualifications
* 7+ years of professional experience * Shipped multiplayer games * Experience working with mobile games * Strong 3D math skills
