Amazon Flex is a crowd-sourced delivery program focused on delighting customers by delivering millions of packages faster than ever before. We are expanding our service rapidly to new geographies and products from groceries to big-screen TVs in an increasingly complex network. Amazon Flex enables anyone to sign-up and deliver for Amazon Logistics, our own end to end to delivery network across to the globe, as well as Prime Now, Amazon's newest benefit for Prime members who can now skip a trip to the store by shopping on the Prime Now app for last-minute recipe ingredients, household items, and even food from local restaurants with orders delivered right to their door in an hour or less.

One of the biggest challenges in our expanding logistics marketplace is delicately balancing supply and demand by offering Amazon Flex drivers the right opportunities at the right time at the right price, all while ensuring every customer order gets to the doorstep on-time, minimizing costs, and engaging drivers for the long term. As a business and technology leader for the Amazon Flex Scheduling and Pricing team, you will lead a team of engineers, software development managers, product and program managers, and scientists to build large-scale software systems ranging from complex backend workflows orchestrating machine learning and mathematical optimizations to world-class mobile experiences. The role provides a unique opportunity to grow and execute on a critical Amazon goal, establish a comprehensive product vision, and has end to end scope of ownership and responsibility.

A successful candidate will have an established background developing business ideas from inception to delivery, experience building highly scalable and mission critical software services and mobile applications, and technical knowledge of development techniques and latest practices. You are a leader of leaders with deep technical experience, a demonstrated progression of management scope, and a passion for hiring and managing product and engineering talent in a fast-paced environment. You will manage and be responsible for delivering some of our most strategic technical projects.
