Driving Infinite Possibilities Within A Diversified, Global Organization

Responsible for Material Master Data Quality and alignment to policies around cleansing rules, system-of-record, and policies along with assisting in driving effective requirements. In this role, you will act as proxy for the MDM Leader, working with partners to ensure master data landmark dates are met, and will facilitate in developing master data business standards, metrics, and processes. Ensuring data is stays in sync with defined standards, policies and quality requirements and validates and measures data quality, integrity, accuracy, and consistency in the systems, while monitoring and resolving interface issues. Responsible for providing input to project teams (business and technical) as it relates to material master data management and governance. Demonstrates insight necessary to suggest improvements and attempts to address issues prior to seeking mentorship from senior staff members. This is a business-facing role, which requires a significant level of interaction with both technical and business affiliates at multiple levels, as well as several IT constituents and data owners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Works with Strategic Business Group's to define, document and harmonize data quality rules, policies, approval processes, critical metrics, availability rules, exception reports and implement control plans to ensure data remains clean.
* Solves complex problems involving data requirements, architecture, and strategy decisions and enacts a fresh opinion on existing solutions.
* Responsible for ongoing activities, objectives and may lead projects or steps within a broader project.
* Communicates difficult or sensitive information and builds relationships with domain experts and business partners to meet organizational goals and deadlines
* Performs data validation testing and periodic audit for data quality
* Recommend consistent business naming standards for use across the Association; develop data definitions, standard calculations, and business rules.
* Implement tools and technologies to support capabilities (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Workflow); use automation where possible.
* Workings independently and free from direct oversight.

You Must Have:

* 4+ years' experience working within Master Data Management
* 4+ years defining data quality, documenting policies, remediation, and continuous improvement plans

We Value:

* Experience demonstrating an understanding of data governance functions including data stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing and business intelligence, master and reference data, data security, and data integration.
* Experience with ERP and Database Management Systems (SAP, Oracle)
* Experience with one or more core platforms (Paxata, Celones, Collibra)
* Deep understanding of MDM tool suites including configuration (Informatica a plus)
* Consistent record of delivering customer-centric MDM across a complex portfolio; as well as demonstrable ability to build & lead effective relationships
* Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills with ability to prioritize and use independent discernment to support an environment motivated by customer service and teamwork; Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
