Senior Manual QA Engineer

Job Description

Participate in problem-solving processes for resolving end-user support issues. Test feasibility of new features and assess workflow impact, usability and style. Regression testing of old features. Active participant in the testing of the products for the Windows, Mac, web and mobile platforms. Find and enter bugs into bug tracking system. Works with Project Managers, Developers, Support and Sales Engineer.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Related Field
* 5+ years of experience in testing of web applications
* Solid QA competency in software engineering with experience in the full software testing life cycle (STLC)
* Good analytical skills and attention to detail
* Communicate effectively at all organizational levels
* Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as on an individual level
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process a plus
* Hands-on experience with bug and issue tracking software(JIRA) a plus
* Experience with Active Directory or other v3 LDAP directories a plus
* Experience with Visual Studio, Microsoft Test Manager a plus
* Understanding of VPNs, firewalls, load balancers and other network gateways a plus
* Ability to write SQL and SQL scripts a plus
* Understanding of network infrastructure, system administration, VMWare a plus
* Automated testing a plus
* Load testing with Visual Studios a plus
