About the Role:
We're looking for a seasoned web marketing expert to drive the evolution of Evernote's global websites, both on the front-end to create the best possible digital experience for our customers, as well as on the back-end to ensure effective, efficient performance. Our ideal candidate will advocate strongly for our customers' needs, have a data-driven test & learn approach to continual improvement and be comfortable understanding business priorities and linking them to website performance.
What you will do:
* Manage and execute against our global consumer website (evernote.com), managing a team of 4 with an emphasis on the site experience, mobile web, personalization and conversion across devices
* Maintain website content and underlying content management system to support marketing goals and objectives. Continuously make recommendations for improvements based on web best practices and AB test results
* Work closely with the SEO Program Manager to execute the technical aspects of the search strategy on evernote.com and related properties
* Work with Product Marketing on all Go To Market & promotional campaigns globally
* Design customer-facing experiments and manage A/B optimization (backlog, testing and targeting) to maximize performance of the site
* Manage end-to-end process for website updates, from design thru QA thru reporting
* Drive effective communication and partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, operations, legal and regulatory to evaluate, prioritize & implement various ad hoc, time-sensitive requests
* Leverage internal analytics tools and partner with analytics team to analyze user experience and conversion metrics
* Review and evaluate the integrity, performance and SLAs of the website by conducting audits, regular reporting and ongoing clean-up.
* Own the sprint process, managing resource allocation to effectively meet deadlines, ensure cross-team communications and manage the backlog
* Ensure our tangential web properties (e.g. blog, YouTube channel and Help & Learning pages) are optimized against performance KPIs
What you have done:
* 3-5 years experience in managing a visually stimulating, highly trafficked and high performing web properties
* People Management & leadership skills - must have managed people before
* Solid understanding of Google Analytics - from understanding implementation of GA on a site to leveraging reports & dashboards to make strategic optimizations to the site
* Experience with optimization/personalization platforms such as Optimizely to increase conversions and improve experience
* Experience managing CMS platforms (e.g. CrownPeak, SiteCore, WordPress or similar proprietary tools)
* Deep understanding and expertise with one or many aspects of web development: information architecture, front end web design, back-end web development, user experience, and rich media
* B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Visual Design, Marketing, similar disciplines, or equivalent experience
