Who we need

We are looking for an experienced Program and Project Manager who will take on the management of key IT Infrastructure projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope. This position will act as the lead and primary contact between IT Infrastructure teams and business owners for project and process initiatives. This role will work to help drive continuous process improvement both inside our shared IT teams and with our business customers. This role will also have Program Manager responsibilities which involve articulating program's strategy and objectives and assesses how it will impact a business. He or she must define and oversee a list of dependent projects needed to reach the program's overall goals.

Key Responsibilities. Tasks and Skills

Communication skills:

* Expert communication, writing and presentation skills.
* Lead requirements discovery workshops, collaboration sessions with IT Lead and business partners and issue resolution discussions
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups and various business constituencies.

Negotiation skills:

* Actively bridge technical and business cultures and perspectives, help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders,

Key Management skills:

* Collaborate with business and IT leadership to develop well-defined project plans that clearly state the project objectives, scope, assumptions, timeline, resource requirements, risks, benefits and budget.
* Develop and maintain a project work schedule with activities, timelines, critical paths and resource requirements.
* Work with project sponsors to develop a project organization structure with clearly defined roles and responsibilities for committees, teams and project team members and to ensure the roles are appropriately resourced for the project duration.
* Manage and monitor all activities against the project work schedule for the project duration. Review assigned tasks according to work plans with responsible team members. Manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget. Identify project risks and set timelines to meet customer expectations. Ensure timely resolution of issues, using escalation as necessary.
* Maintain documents critical to project implementation. Document and report project status against established objectives, milestones, budget and resources.
* Lead and/or attend regularly scheduled steering committee and status meetings throughout the project life cycle. Facilitate closure of issues that cannot be resolved by project teams.
* Supervise groups of projects along with oversee individual projects
* Focus on long-term business objectives and short-term, concrete deliverables

To be considered for the role you will need to have:

* Bachelor's degree
* 7+ years' experience as a IT Project Manager or Program Manager
* Ability to work independently and function effectively with minimal amount of supervision
* Comfortable working in matrixed, global setting
* Ability to exercise personal authority and organizational leadership to establish and maintain employee excellence
* Knowledge of information management systems and infrastructure, O365, Disaster Recovery, Cloud and Virtual environments concepts is a plus
* Experience with managing O365 program
* Agile development experience a plus
* Six Sigma or knowledge of other process improvement methodology a plus
* People manager experience
* Ability to Travel: 25%
