Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure is a critical and senior-most member of the Goodman Networks infrastructure team, a key contributor to the IT leadership team and a crucial component of our product development teams.

Responsible for architecting and managing our infrastructure assets to ensure effective, secure and continuous operation. Managing cost and risk are also vital areas of focus for this technical leader. Automation and quality control are key aspects of this position's responsibilities and the incumbent will use this mandate to ensure quality and increase technical throughput using automation and acting as the final gate before the release of new products or enhancements. Essential Functions:

* Act as the senior infrastructure decision maker and member of the IT leadership team.
* Collaborate with other leaders in the business to innovate our product portfolio and create compelling value for our internal and external customers. Maximize the benefits of available and emerging cloud technologies to transform our operations and improve the customer experience.
* Serve as a technical lead and mentor to the infrastructure team with the capability to get hands-on, when necessary.
* Responsible for the strategy, architecture, design, operation/administration and maintenance of our infrastructure environment/s.
* Prepare budgets, forecasts and cost models for the current operation and new projects as they emerge.
* Benchmark cloud costs and establish and maintain cost monitoring and control of our Azure environment.
* Champion our automation efforts to improve operations and enable rapid and continuous delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
* Establish and maintain life-cycle management procedures to keep technology current and retire technical debt.
* Create and keep our standard policies and procedures up to date and relevant.
* Complete the final phase our infrastructure migration to Azure.
* Responsible for directing disaster recovery, business continuity planning, testing and auditing.
* Oversee the internal service desk and desktop support efforts to control costs and delight our customers.
* Manage vendor relationships to ensure contract compliance and maximize the value proposition of our third-party partners. Identify emerging/innovative partners and negotiate terms to advance the technical and service delivery goals of the company.
* Keep security in the forefront of all our efforts and hold the team and others in the enterprise accountable for the secure operation of our technical resources.

Recommended Minimum Job Requirements:

* Azure PaaS: 3 years
* Azure IaaS: 3 years
* Minimum 10 years of overall hands-on technical experience, both networking and systems / server experience
* Minimum 3 years of management responsibility
* Extensive experience automating system tasks and infrastructure
* Deep understanding of the software development life cycle including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) and Agile methodologies
* Azure storage and backup experience.
* Azure network experience, VPN and Express Route, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager, and load balancing.
* Experience designing, planning and implementing Azure environments.
* Strong Proficiency in all the services offered by Microsoft Azure including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
* Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure and knowledge on other competitive platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Operational experience in the O365 ecosystem.

Recommended Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Managing infrastructure environments supporting D365 ERP and CRM
* Strong leadership experience, including personnel and budget management, policy definition and implementation, strategy, design & execution

Physical Demands:

* Internal office environment with moderate noise level.
* Sitting for extended periods of time while viewing a computer monitor and performing various desk work.
* Dexterity of hands and reaching to operate keyboard/calculator and file documents.
* Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs.
* Vision requires eyesight sufficiently strong enough to permit extended close work and normal color perception.
* Hearing and speaking in order to exchange information.
