Job Description

Amazon is seeking a leader to build develop a new projects and analytics team for Amazon's growing global immigration organization. This Seattle-based role within a larger team is charged with keeping Amazon's employment immigration sponsored population at work and building great products for Amazon's customers.

You will be responsible for building and leading a team of skilled project and analytics professionals that own a portfolio of projects. The focus will be on delivering seamless and unified immigration services across our external partner network to our employees, candidates and internal stakeholders as well as building an enhanced reporting and data inspection capability. While overseeing the team, you will also have direct ownership of global project deliverables.

Responsibilities include:

* People Leadership - Oversee team in the design of the ideal immigration experience
* Subject Matter Expertise - Work with senior leadership within the Global Immigration Operations & Services Team, Mobile Talent & Immigration Strategy Team, Public Policy, and PR to review and understand impact of immigration changes and manage associated projects as needed
* Project Management - Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedules; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables
* Operational Excellence - Drive regional and global process optimization while balancing the business need for flexibility and appropriate localization
* Measurement - Develop measures to define progress and ultimate success; establish ongoing reporting requirements and key performance indicators for planning, and ultimately realizing intended ROIs
* Deliver Solutions - Design and implement new or modified regional and global processes to meet long term employee and business needs; partner with technical development teams on gap analysis and system design and prioritization of critical strategic components of the deployments.
* Serve as a member of the Immigration leadership team with direct ownership of the team three year strategy and mechanism for regular program report-out.
