Responsibilities

What You Will Be Accountable For…

* Engineering and administrating server infrastructure
* Performing resource monitoring, performance tuning, and scaling of infrastructure with system/application rollouts and security design
* Implementing and engineering solutions based on customer and business needs
* Leading IT project initiatives encompassing design and budget considerations
* Maintaining and supporting a mix of vendor equipment including Linux, VMware, HP, and Hitachi
* Providing technical expertise needed to resolve complex issues

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful…

* 5-7 years of prior work experience engineering and administering Linux Systems
* Demonstrated knowledge of multiple technology areas including Redhat and Centos operating systems, Apache httpd and Tomcat, VMware, syslog, tripwire and shell scripting
* Experience with Windows 2008R2 / 2012
* Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Positive attitude and good communication skills across all levels of the organization, customer oriented
* Willingness to load share daily system administrative tasks
* Flexibility to provide support during off hours
* Excellent project and time management skills; proven ability to function as team member for multiple simultaneous activities
* Strong scripting and automation skills
* Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3)
* Experience with SAN technologies
* Basic networking background including Cisco and Dell network equipment
* F5 load balancer experience
* Database technologies such as Mongo and Oracle.
