Job Description

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

The Incentive Compensation New Initiatives within OAL is responsible for the design, development and implementation of solutions for a wide range of teams including Incentive Compensation, General Ledger Budgeting and Planning, Sales Force planning, and more. These applications and solutions are critical to Oracle as they are used to drive the sales planning and compensation processes for Oracle's global sales force as well as other financial focused processes.

Essential Functions:

* Enthusiasm and passion for building next-gen enterprise applications
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* In-depth knowledge, experience, and skills in Java, Springboot, JPA, ADF, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, PL/SQL, and Eclipse
* Ability to research new frameworks, technologies and write up recommendations for adoption
* Implement high performing complex cross functional solutions with excellent quality in both the deliverable and delivery process
* Ability to work in a fast paced virtual environment that demands co-ordination across time-zones
* Work with business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical solutions.
* Take ownership and manage small to medium sized projects potentially taking a lead role on a small team
* Work with junior developers providing technical guidance and performing code reviews

Desired Industry Experience:

* Overall experience of 4 to 11 years in enterprise application development (preferably Oracle) using Java focused tools and web development methodologies
* Experience with REST web services, cloud and database development, and front end frameworks
* Experience and proven effectiveness with project management, communications with business and technical audiences, and use of collaboration tools
* Experience in SAFe Agile teams, design, development and collaboration approach
* Ability to take ownership and work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team within a structured development organization
* Experience with Software Development Life Cycle activities - feasibility review, requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and maintenance

Education and Certification:

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, or related field.
