This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus of 20k for a candidate with a current TS/SCI that can be verified and hired at Raytheon.

Job Description:

Raytheon IIS has an immediate professional opening for a Sr Infrastructure SecDevOps Engineer. The qualified candidate will have a background and experience in the implementation, troubleshooting, and administration of large-scale systems and software development environments, with an emphasis on the cybersecurity aspects of the systems. They should be adept at implementing security controls in heterogeneous Linux/Windows environments using traditional scripting and more modern DevOps tools.

A current US DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance is required as of day one for this position; US Citizenship is required

Required Skills:

* Experience implementing security controls based on the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in large-scale systems and software development environments
* Experience performing system administration tasks in mixed Windows/Linux environments
* Experience configuring, optimizing, and maintaining VMWare vSphere, ESXi, and vSAN products as well as virtual networks
* Experience deploying and supporting VMWare Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
* Scripting skills using shell (bash), PowerShell, and Python languages
* Experience writing, modifying, and using Chef recipes and tools in an environment utilizing DevOps tools and methods
* Exposure to application containerization using Docker
* Experience managing a hardware Bill Of Materials (BOM), including linkage of system design artifacts to the BOM
* Experience with bare-metal infrastructures, specifically Dell/EMC VxRails
* Hands-on experience performing COTS hardware assembly and cable plant installation
* Experience working in an agile development framework
* Current US Government TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship
* 6 years of related work experience

Desired Skills:

* Experience with the design, administration, and/or operation of Raytheon's closed-area collaboration networks
* Experience with DevOps tools other than infrastructure automation, e.g. Kubernetes, Vagrant, Jenkins etc.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree required in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 6 years of related work experience.
