Who are we?

We are the IT team who supports Respawn Entertainment, a AAA game development studio that was founded in 2010 by former co-founders of Infinity Ward and creators of the multi-billion dollar Call of Duty and Modern Warfare franchises. We shipped Titanfall and Titanfall 2 to critical acclaim, and recently shipped a free-to-play battle royale game in the Titanfall universe, Apex Legends.

We are currently hiring for the IT team who support our Star Wars™, Apex Legends, and Super-Secret VR game development teams. And we are looking for a skilled Sr. Infrastructure Engineer who has a passion for automating infrastructure and IT service and would be excited to be working at the greatest game company in the world.

What skills we need from you

* Expert level system administration experience supporting Linux (RedHat/CentOS preferred) automating OS installation, software compilation, package management, virtualization, OS lifecycle management, diagnostic and performance troubleshooting/profiling
* Advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Storage Networks (SAN and NAS), design and support
* Previous experience working with and maintaining common monitoring & analytics tools & services (Nagios, Opsview, Telegraf, ELK, Grafana, etc.)
* Previous experience working with and maintaining infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Automate, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc.)
* Broad experience supporting and maintaining common Linux applications and services
* Experience with shell scripting interpreted or compiled languages such as Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python, Go, C, or C++
* Experience with common version control software such as Perforce and Git
* Experienced automating processes like application performance management, error monitoring, and log management
* Advance knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Go, JavaScript ..)
* Must be able to apply security best practice to infrastructure and OS's

Additional skills, if you got them it would be a plus.

* Passion for games
* Knowledge and understanding of current industry trends and their advantages with the ability to integrate into an existing environment
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
* Ability to establish and define automated system installation/configuration procedures
* Continuous integration and deployment of internal tools to multiple environments
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply them towards automation
* Documentation experience

Education & Experience

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
