This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus of 20k for a candidate with a current TS/SCI that can be verified and hired at Raytheon.

Job Description:

Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) has immediate openings for Sr. Infrastructure DevOps Engineers. The qualified candidates will have a background and experience in IT infrastructure design and implementation in private cloud (VMware) environments as well as a keen interest in and experience with DevOps Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) philosophies and tools. An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance is required as of day one for this position and US Citizenship.

Required Skills:

* Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux systems
* Strong skills in use of VMware tools to deploy private cloud virtual hosts
* Experience developing and modifying playbooks using Ansible and/or recipes using Chef
* Ability to program in a scripting language, e.g. bash, Perl, Ruby
* Ability to troubleshoot system integration issues, including those arising from COTS/FOSS software installations
* Existing US Government TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship
* 6 years of related work experience

Desired Skills:

* Exposure to Information Assurance compliance to specified standards, e.g. DISA STIGs
* Experience with containerization technologies and tools, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
* Exposure to government contracting processes and deliverables

Required Education:

Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 6 years of related work experience.
