As a Sr. Information Security Analyst for our Corporate Data & Analytics team, you will develop, evaluate, recommend, monitor, and maintain information security policies, procedures and systems. In this role you'll take what has become normal/routine in terms of security, and make it new again. To begin with, you will rely on your ability to work within a less-than-perfect environment . You will work closely with the team to ensure that security architecture, designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with HITRUST standards and overall IT security. We'd like you to think beyond the technical components, take what is well known, and apply it in a new place so we can get us to the point where we can be audited by HITRUST and ultimately be awarded certification. Your work will help us reinvent healthcare and move us to more responsible stewardship of confidential information.

What you'll do

* Install, configure and maintain multiple security event technologies supporting the Premera security program and the HITRUST framework
* Interface with security engineers to ensure alignment of existing standards with technical designs and deployments
* Document and communicate end-to-end guidance on how to manage security risks through administrative and technical security measures
* Develop and execute implementation plans related to the Premera security program and the HITRUST framework
* Investigate and triage a wide variety of security events, and implement cleanup and remediation processes
* Mentor and develop more junior analysts

What you'll bring

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or Business Administration, or a related field four (4) years' work experience
* Five (5) years' experience with common security operations systems and services
* Experience with requirements around information security, particularly HITRUST
* Understanding of current legal and regulatory requirements to include HIPAA
* Familiarity with Hadoop and Teradata, Intersystems and Netezza would be a plus
* Strong technical and practical experience in : Application Security, Information Protection, Physical Protections, Awareness and Training, Risk Management, Threat Mitigation, Identity and Access Management, Incident Response, and Network Security
* Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills
* Ability to:

o Successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels

o Consistently driving projects to completion and taking accountability for work and results

o Consult with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and proactively generate a solution

o Understand potential impacts to processes and systems
