Job Description

The AWS Identity User Experience team focuses on making it easier for AWS customers to manage their software solutions through robust authentication and authorization mechanisms. We provide web-based experiences for customers to define who has access to their AWS resources (Identity & Access Management), integrate and manage their directories of users and devices (Directory Service), and manage resources at scale (Tagging, Organizations, Accounts). Our mission is to create extraordinary user interfaces that empower experienced developers to have fine-grained control over their environments and security, while being simple enough for less-technical users to ensure they are protecting their data and systems utilizing best-practices.

As a Sr. Frontend Engineer, you will be the technical leader developing improvements across multiple AWS consoles. You will have an opportunity to make major architectural decisions, define technical direction, make the most out of the modern tools like React, Redux, ES6, and play an integral role in evolving a product that is being used globally at massive scale. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and UX designers to build user experiences that are easy to understand and improve the security of AWS customers. Every day, you will be working on both client & server-side code, as well as using many AWS products. You will also drive the operational excellence of the services owned by your team, including continuously improve the performance and security of the applications.
