Sr. Front-End Developer

Job Description

As Front-End Developer III, you will join our Agile development team as the lead. You will work to guide and mentor other Front-end Engineers, ensuring the highest level of performance, code quality, and maintainability. You will be involved in a wide range of software design, architecture, and engineering projects in support of the organization's growth.

Essential Duties:

* Develop maintainable and reusable code using OOP methodologies
* Practice Test Driven Development
* Identify ways to enhance the user experience
* Collaborate and mentor other developers
* Support multiple enterprise websites
* Find creative solutions, work diligently, and address changes with confidence
* Actively work to build and maintain a positive team culture



Required Qualifications & Skills:

* 5+ years of web development experience
* Familiarity with pair programming
* Strong understanding of CSS3, SASS, HTML5, ES6+, Typescript
* Strong understanding of AngularJS or Angular 7
* Experience with TDD
* Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
* Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Functional Programming
* Strong documentation and communication skills



Desired Qualifications & Skills:

* Experience with NodeJS, NPM, and NVM
* Experience with Vue.js
* Project management with Jira
* Build tools such as Grunt and Angular-CLI
* CI/CD using GitLab
* Experience with Laravel or PHP
* TDD using Jasmine
* Writing End to End tests with Protractor
