Ripple is growing rapidly and we are looking for a results-oriented and passionate Senior Engineering Manager UI Engineering to help lead and build the next generation of payment applications that enable banks, payment providers, corporates etc to instantly settle cross-border payments to create the Internet of Value.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Manage performance and growth of the UI Engineering team
* Help build client-facing web applications integrating with RippleNet (blockchain technologies and all forms of currencies -- traditional as well as crypto)
* Motivate your team and lead by example to continuously innovate, improve and think differently
* Create a shared vision and build and maintain strong partnerships with Product Management, Design, Ops, Security, Research, Customer Success and other cross-functional teams
* Be results-driven and think strategically while balancing both short and long term
* Deliver outstanding results for our customers and be a role model for other engineers
* Have a bias towards action and make decisions quickly after considering competing viewpoints
* Own and deliver your roadmap

WHAT YOU MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

* At least 6+ years of web development experience with modern Javascript frameworks (React, Redux preferred), HTML5, CSS/SASS, Webpack, NPM, Typescript
* At least 2+ years of engineering management responsibilities
* Proven experience in mentoring team members
* Demonstrated success by building highly elegant, scalable and responsive web applications for consumers / enterprise customers
* Experience with Agile development and shipping customer facing features on a regular cadence
* Help to proactively identify cross-application dependencies and potential downstream impact
* Focus on unit and integration testing, so teams can iterate quickly while maintaining a high quality bar
* Thrive on autonomy and responsibility
* BS in Computer Science or similar
