Purpose:

* Responsible for those functions, activities, and skills required for analysis, design, coding, integration, test & maintenance of software modules, subsystems or systems which control other electrical, mechanical, electronic or network systems.
* Recognized as an expert in own function
* Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices
* Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives
* Primarily domestic scope/accountability; may include some international scope/accountability
* Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirement

Requirements:

* 5 years of database/SQL development experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
* Some ASP.NET development experience, JavaScript and Angular.
* Strong knowledge of software and SQL Server Architecture and environments.
* Strong knowledge of Operating Systems and components that relate to the application.
* Advanced hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
* Knowledge of relational database structures.
* Advanced hands-on experience with SQL Server 2014.
* Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2017 a strong plus.
* Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and Analysis Services a plus.
* Strong DB design skills and knowledge of the software development lifecycle required.
* UML and/or familiarity with Agile methodologies (RUP, SCRUM, XP, MSF) a strong plus.
* Hands-on experience with EDI X12 a strong plus.
* Hands-on experience with EDIFecs and Pervasive (Actian) a plus.
* Knowledge of IBM Websphere MQ a plus.
