Job Summary

Duties: Participate and lead in the construction, implementation and support of software products that meet established specifications, design criteria, quality standards and business requirements. Responsible for designing applications and systems based upon business requirements documentation and architectural designs. Contribute to designing and developing applications, modules, and enhancements. Prepare and maintain complete programming specifications, functional design, and both high and detail level technical design documents. Create system prototypes and abstracts and construct software and conduct code and security code reviews. Create deployment script and perform troubleshooting and analysis to assess root cause of application issues. Provide technical project level interface. Construct high quality code and analyze, code test and debug applications. Establish and validate constructed code against unit test criteria. Participate in projects through the various phases and make corrections to code, and update comments/design documents to reflect the changes. Provide post production support and development leadership.

Job Requirements

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related occupation. Must have experience in working on software and application development, XML/XSLT, and Service Oriented Architectures; design and analysis using Microsoft .NET including C# and ASP.NET; working on T-SQL using Microsoft SQL Server, software lifecycles, software configuration management, and change control; designing and developing web services, and developing database applications including stored procedures, triggers and functions; and object oriented design and programming.

OR

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related occupation. Must have experience in working on software and application development, XML/XSLT, and Service Oriented Architectures; design and analysis using Microsoft .NET including C# and ASP.NET; working on T-SQL using Microsoft SQL Server, software lifecycles, software configuration management, and change control; designing and developing web services, and developing database applications including stored procedures, triggers and functions; and object oriented design and programming.
