JOB SUMMARY
Directly oversees multiple engineering SCRUM teams focused on end-to-end delivery of an enterprise data platform using Agile and Lean methodologies. The focus of this position would be to drive the development of web and mobile solutions based on the CBRE data platform. Provides hands-on design, development, and deployment of the platform. Assists in the development of product strategy and direction. Proactively identifies areas for improvement and initiates the appropriate action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Lead analysis, architecture, design and development of high-performance web and mobile solutions
Lead platform architecture design and platform deployment in cloud
Utilize latest technologies to develop dynamic and engaging global web applications, consistent across all browsers and platforms
Lead multiple development teams to deliver elegant solutions to challenging problems, with focus on optimizing processes and technologies
Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and integration
Work with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive code that drives engagement
Develop in a test-oriented and fast paced environment. Support test automation and CI/CD
Support production systems including system/data integrity, scalability, performance, high availability, security and version control/upgrades
Act as a thought partner to empower both development and business teams to drive impact through proactive, holistic and data informed decision making
Collaborate daily with project stakeholders including IT operations and infrastructure staff, product owner(s), end users, and other business leadership
Contribute forward-thinking innovation and ideas to projects that introduce new technology and processes to increase business value and improve end-user experience
Ensure that team is following best practice development methodologies.
Lead by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values
Recruit, motivate and build strong teams with a strong Technical acumen
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of six to ten years of related experience and/or training.
Experience designing, developing and delivering responsive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
At least 2 years of experience with single page web application technologies including Angular
Has shipped outstanding websites/apps from concept to launch
Experience developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
Experience with browser differences and limitations, and client-side performance optimization
Experience with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
Working knowledge of DevOps software Jenkins, Git, Karma, Protractor, Junit testing
Minimum 5 years of software development experience as a front-end developer and minimum of 2 years in Angular required
Experience with cloud platforms
