We have an exciting new opening for a Sr. DevOps Engineer/SRE for our client, a Payment Solution Provider with innovative technologies that fight fraud, process payments and eliminate costly errors.

The company is located in Los Angeles but out of state candidates can work 100% Remote!!!

The Sr. DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for all things that ensure High Availabiity, Production Systems at scale. You will handle daily troubleshoots to support deployment automation in collaboration with development teams for the entire rapidly growing infrastructure.

Day-to-Day:

1. Work with Development teams to match requirements in an Agile environment

2. Increase deployment efficiencies, monitoring management, respond to incidents

3. Stay up to date on the bleeding edge of new tech, open-source and production

4. Time management of complex initiatives

5. Reduce and/or eradicate frequency of manual or midnight interventions in high avail. production environment.

Requirements:

1.3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with additional experience in SysOps, Systems, Site Reliability, etc.

2. STRONG experience with CHEF (writing cookbooks and creation of recipes from scratch!)

2. Expertise with Linux Admin, Eng.

3. Technologies: OpenStack, GoLang, Ruby, Nagios, (Elk stack) Logstash, F5, Mongo, MySQL, Sensu/Nagios

4. Proven track record of server management in High Availability Environment, geographically distributed Server Cluster

5. CD/CI Automation

6. High Traffic environment experience is a MUST

7. 24/7, rotating on-call.

8. Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, Helm in a production environment
