General Summary/ Overview Statement:

Senior database administrator responsible for advanced SQL & Oracle database administration including support, upgrades, monitoring and security of the database infrastructure. Leads complex projects, capable to innovate and improvise current processes within the team and improve efficiency, and skilled to meet database services needs of all entities including all branches of the PHS family. Proven ability to maintain the highest standard of data security and confidentiality. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Relational database software administration, including installation, configuration, tuning, administration, and troubleshooting
* Project management of departmental and enterprise projects, emphasizing technical integration within Partners environment.
* Outline efficient processes for the team and lead adoption.
* Contribute in defining and developing documentation while operationalizing standard procedures.
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
* Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, result driven and pays attention to detail.
* Must be able to facilitate communication/collaboration with vendors and application/Infrastructure teams.
* Maintain in-depth technical expertise for Microsoft SQL and Oracle database products and industry trends on best practice for enterprise organizations.

MS in Computer Science or other equivalent.

6 years database administration experience (2 years with SQL Server 2014/2016 and/or Oracle 12c).

Familiarity with Windows, PowerShell, Oracle desired
