Work you'll do

Consultants in Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice with a focus on State & Local Government Consulting serve as trusted advisors to most of the state governments in the U.S. and numerous local governments.

Whether its program and performance optimization, program and policy strategy, technology integration, program transformation, program management, or data analysis- Deloitte is uniquely qualified to tackle today's most pressing state and local government challenges.

Deloitte Consulting's growing Government & Public Services practice is seeking experience in government consulting, operations, and/or management across one or more of the following segments: Health and Human Services, public health, unemployment insurance, workers compensation, workforce development, finance, and transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consistently develop and sustain software applications according to specifications. Perform application development work on web-based applications introducing new functionality, extending existing functionality, and maintaining the existing codebase. Collaboratively work with customers to conceptualize and develop new features and functionality. Lead in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and code specifications for projects. Conduct research on merging software products, languages, and standards in support of development efforts.

Required Skills:

* 3+ years experience with Cold Fusion (.cfm)


* 3+ years experience with MS .Net Framework


* 3+ years experience with Oracle 12


* 3+ years experience with Oracle PL/SQL


* 3+ years experience with Java EE / J2EE



Desired Skills

* Application development with knowledge of component development, web services, web pages using Cold Fusion
* vb.Net windows forms development
* PL/SQL and Oracle 11g/12c
