The Senior Business Analyst supports the development, implementation and usage of information technology and management information systems within the Salesforce.com suite. Working in partnership with the business process owners, super-users, and end-users, ensure full adoption, effective usage, and efficient deployment of our IT solutions. Effectively manage the change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, and communicating IT priorities and delivery status to the business.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide CRM functional leadership leveraging business process and Salesforce.com configuration and optimal usage expertise.
Collaborate with Sales and IT in the global design, configuration, development, and deployment of the organization's Salesforce.com CRM suite.
Actively demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement focused on end user productivity, Sales process optimization, and enterprise cross-functional integration.
Support the Sales end-user community by providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members.
Liaise with various business groups in the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all IT-related business, sales, service, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
Provide consultation and second tier application and training support to staff on issues to ensure compliance.
Participate in the IT Roadmap, including the Salesforce.com rollout, implementation of new modules, and major upgrades.
Effective management of internal client services - which allows all users to address questions, report problems, and submit requests related to IT production.
Using strong analytical, consultative and communication skills, gather and document business requirements.
Negotiate technical and non-technical solutions that both satisfy the business user and conform to the technical architecture.
Document and communicate changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support business engagement and project go-live activities
Leads special projects as assigned
Minimum 7 years IT experience, preferably in high-tech manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other 4 year degree focusing on information technology
Salesforce.com experience with a strong preference for core Sales functionality
Experience with ERP integration (SAP or Oracle) strongly preferred
Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
