Description

The Sr. Associate, Enterprise Architecture provides and recommends road maps, principles, standards and best practices for implementation within Consumer & Business Banking for mobile and digital channels. S/he is responsible for enabling the business and IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the strategic vision of the organization.

Responsibilities:

* Participates in solution discussions, being part of the solution choices made and communicate to the business on the benefits/setbacks of those solution choices


* Track technical issues and implement solutions in a prompt manner


* Propose solutions to technical constraints using s/he technical expertise and experience, as well as provide expertise for escalated quality problems, and anticipate bottlenecks in the development cycle


* Identify technical impacts on the organization as they relate to business requirements


* Gather and create product requirements and specifications (Communication skills are definitely the key)


* Provide technical leadership


* Has understanding of customer (and market) requirements and drives the specifications


* S/he knows the business requirements and the view of the product from the customer's perspective


* S/he is aware of the dev environment (language, tools etc.) and writes the product spec in such a way that is understood by developers


* Evaluate application technologies and make recommendations for best uses for the company


* Create technical documentation


* Also, knowing of the architectural methods and the typical solutions that can be applied to different cases



Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent field or equivalent work experience


* 9-12 years of experience in Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience


* Ability to continually assess and evaluate the impact of emerging technologies against the strategic business needs and interpret business value for the leadership team in a consultative capacity


* Experience with Angular, IoS, Android, Swift and crashlytics


* Ability to develop and maintain applicable industry knowledge and best practices


* Ability to foresee/ predict industry direction


* Ability to lead multiple sub-teams through example and persuasion


* Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time


* Ability to stay up to date on industry trends


* Curiosity and aptitude for working within new technologies and partnering with others to create custom solutions to fit unique business needs, Innovation and future strategy


* Experience in developing and managing multi-tier architecture applications


* Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test driven development and domain driven design


* Provides strong leadership to the various team members through mentoring, career development, interpersonal skills, teamwork ethic, and enabling leadership skills., Strong analytical and critical thinking skills


* Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as strong/proven management skills


* Strong services oriented architecture experience


* Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus


* Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking
