The CloudFront network is huge and leverages the highly-resilient Amazon backbone network for superior performance and availability for end users. Our team is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end performance of the service. As an Applied Scientist specializing in Distributed Systems & Networking, you'll have the opportunity to advise the business on the next changes we'll make to improve performance of our service.
Working collaboratively, you will experiment and analyze data to discover and create solutions to complex problems, such as designing the next generation of routing algorithms to direct traffic dynamically. You will identify opportunities to streamline operational tasks and work closely with the development team to design and build solutions that improve performance in a range of network conditions, optimize the network's caching strategy, and optimize host performance.
