Plans, organizes, manages and ensures the compliance of software utilized throughout the Health System and the associated contractual rights held in the software products utilized at the Health System.

* Serves as a key resource for compliance team and is responsible for overall license verification process alongside management.
* Creates complete, accurate and verifiable reports evidencing a Northwell's deployment of software at, or prior to, the point-of-audit.
* Analyzes, plans, and resolves issues with reports and reporting as such reports form the basis of the team's assessment of Northwell's license compliance.
* Work to support operational change control process and provide oversight and compliance approvals of project deliverables; IT change requests and IT issue reports.
* Analyzes complex, integrated audits, and other audit project initiatives utilizing ITAM best practices, control framework, software discovery mythologies and toolsets, auditing best practices, inventory data analysis and project management.
* Facilitates use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and implement deployment of software.
* Assists in executing audit fieldwork, drafts and communicates findings, audit needs to technical and to potentially non-technical recipients.
* Analyzes and formulates audit process and procedures for new and existing software products. Handling multiple simultaneous engagements, driving each against a stringent timeline and reporting progress to stakeholders.
* Maintains and monitors end user license agreements as well as formulating strategies to audit for the software based on the terms of those agreements, proactively.
* Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, required.
* Minimum of five (5) years software asset management, IT compliance or software auditing experience, required.
* Knowledge/experience with any of the following areas: Cloud hosted operations (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud), required.
* Strong working knowledge of:

§ Management and monitoring of external cloud services and

§ Usage costing for external cloud services, required.

* Experience with ITAM/SAM tools (such as SCCM, Altiris, LANDesk, Dell KACE, Snow, HP*, IBM*, etc.), preferred. Strong analytical and logic skills (High level of MS Excel) required.
* Knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle and IBM Licensing, preferred.
* Knowledge of IT infrastructures, deployment methodologies, Directory Environments (AD, eDir, etc.), required.
* Excellent interpersonal, project management, oral and written skills required.
* Directory Management Skills (AD, LDAP, eDir), and SQL Skills, preferred.
* Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting and asset management.
