Job Summary

Work on Molina's enterprise analytics projects, with a focus on quality assurance, in an agile environment where you're leveraging your data analysis skills to understand our products are accurate and meet the customer's needs. Our team's focus is to enable our customers to better understand their business, make data driven decisions, and become more efficient.

The Sr. Data Analyst is a fundamental team member on the Customer Engagement & Value team. This person is responsible for ensuring all our dashboards, reports, and other tools are of quality data and provides production support to our customers. The Sr. Data Analyst is empowered to help guide our business analyst and development teams to ensure quality products are built.

Responsibilities for this position are:

* Quality tests all new products produced by our team


* Provides production support for existing products


* Automate repetitive testing solutions


* Design automation test scripts / solutions to be implemented by developers



Required Qualifications

* 2-5 years of experience as a data analyst


* 2-3 years of experience performing quality assurance


* SQL


* Shows effective communication skills


* Demonstration of strong problem solving and analytical skills


* Strong organizational skills as you'll be put into a wide array of projects


* Quick learner as you'll be working with a wide variety of data and businesses and need to gain an understanding quickly


* Worked with healthcare data (claims, enrollment, authorizations, encounters, etc.)



Preferred Qualifications:

* Use of dashboard tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or other software


* Worked in an agile environment


* Automated QA testing with datasets

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

3-5 years

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Experience

5-7 years
