Job Description

Position Title: Sr. QTC LEAD - SAP

Location: Hoboken, NJ

Reporting to the AMS IT Director, this role has responsibility for the SAP SD Production Support group. The individual will partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve system/ Business Process issues. This role requires knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution Module and business processes and methodologies, along with excellent technical and problem-solving abilities. Expert level design and configuration knowledge in SAP SD, IS Media,Business Partners, Pricing, Order entry, and IDoc Processing. Individual also must has extensive experience in working with a Level 1, 2, and 3 help desk environments in both an onsite and offshore model. With proven capabilities in building high performance teams and delivering expected results in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support to the Director of SAP AMS organization and ensure support for business units running SAP. Responsible for all SD production support activities including providing guidance and assistance to the team for problem solving and Ticket resolution.
* Develops strong business relationships and works collaboratively with the business Partners to ensure alignment of business priorities to IT deliverables, by prioritizing tickets/ requests, resources, and deliverables throughout the solution implementation lifecycle.
* Leads teams to deliver high quality solutions based on best practices. Develops and grows the existing team into a high performance, Agile, efficient and effective team.
* Provides coaching, mentoring/guidance and leadership to the team.
* Work closely with IT departments across the company, particularly those that feed data to and from SAP to Triage and Fix and system or interface issues.
* Responsible for ensuring change management processes are implemented and followed
* Perform other duties as appropriate in support of company's strategic initiatives
* The Group Creates functional specifications, test plans, user training, cutover plans and other Production support documentation as required in accordance with SOX compliance
* Daily Monitoring and handling of Service Now Tickets within Established SLA.
* Weekly Business Prioritization meetings to insure we are in alignment with business priorities and escalations.

Required background:

* Bachelor's degree in finance and/or computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education.
* Proven business acumen in SAP QTC Process.


* 15 plus, years of SAP experience across multiple end--‐to--‐end implementations, with at least 3 as SD lead or Functional SD lead.


* SAP Functional configuration expertise in SD Module.


* Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams and to make project presentations


* Excellent time--‐management skills and ability to plan ahead for scheduled tasks


* Ability to train a non--‐technology audience


* Thorough understanding of the project life cycle from requirements Definition through post Implementation Support


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Extremely proficient in the use of MS


* Office products such as Project, Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint


* Versatile, dynamic, demonstrates initiative, results oriented, flexible and able to work under tight deadlines


* Critical thinker with good judgment and Initiative


* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
* Willingness to work outside of normal Business hours to meet program milestones and travel on occasion
