SQL Server DBA

Design, Develop, and Operate a large series of SQL server databases. Perform clean, normalization, optimization, and restructuring for integrated application environment. Integrate across platforms. Create stored procedures, triggers, and indices for speed and performance. Ensure the long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall database systems planning of the organization. Maintain responsibility for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of SQL architecture. Implement Microsoft Windows SQL Server operating system enhancements.

The team

Systems Engineering

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Qualifications:

* MS-SQL Server 2012 STIG
* Design of Entity Relationships for relational Databases
* Structured Query Language (SQL)
* Integration with .NET frameworks using C#
* Development and testing of integrated application environment
* Agile development frameworks (i.e. SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.)
* Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management (database architecture)
* Responsible for proactive monitoring, performance tuning, upgrades, and maintenance to help support the team's SLA of 99.9% system uptime.
* Monitor and maintain a backup and recovery solution which includes both nightly backups to ensure zero data loss.
