Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Senior, Enterprise Operations, Technology Services Optimization in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Designing, implementing, and delivering strategies to increase the efficiency and value delivered by the enterprise IT function, including IT business management, enterprise architecture and platforms. Directing large technology engagements and participating in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Identifying and recording key deadlines for the workstream in the client engagement to ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple parties, and constructing a work plan around them that will quickly and effectively achieve client goals whilst also allowing for reasonable work time and unexpected delays or pivots. Creating clear, effective, and detailed deliverable content, including written, visual, and oral deliverables, which are informed by research, analytics, and client meetings. Conducting Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Configuration Management, Asset Management, Discovery, Service Level Management, Content Management, Dashboard, and Reporting. Capturing client requirements, developing user stories, and maintaining the product backlog utilizing Agile Development in ServiceNow. Acting as a Scrum Master during project lifecycles and conducting daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, and sprint retrospectives. Designing, implementing, and deploying portal solutions utilizing Service Portal in ServiceNow. Conducting unit testing and system integration testing utilizing Test Management in ServiceNow. Overseeing and participating in end-to-end delivery of migration projects utilizing Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Scrum Process in ServiceNow.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Conducting JAD sessions for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Configuration Management, Asset Management, Discovery, Service Level Management, Content Management, Dashboard, and Reporting;


* Capturing client requirements, developing user stories, and maintaining the product backlog utilizing Agile Development in ServiceNow;


* Acting as a Scrum Master during project lifecycles and conducting daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, and sprint retrospectives;


* Designing, implementing, and deploying portal solutions utilizing Service Portal in ServiceNow;


* Conducting unit testing and system integration testing utilizing Test Management in ServiceNow;


* Overseeing and participating in end-to-end delivery of migration projects utilizing Project Management and SDLC Scrum Process in ServiceNow.




* 80% travel required.
