Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Senior, Enterprise Operations, SAP in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions. Participating in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration and end-to-end testing of software applications. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Translating business needs into associated technical requirements and understanding solutions that will incorporate these requirements. Working with business and IT teams for requirements gathering, business analysis, gap analysis, process mapping, business process reengineering, conceptual and detailed design, work plans, baseline and final configuration, unit test scripts, integration test plans and script and regression testing. Building training materials, providing training, and executing cutover plan activities and go live support. Conducting assessments of current system and business architecture, providing Knowledge Transfer documents, and preparing the system for the Production migration. Designing systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions. Configuring the Key Modules in Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Banking, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting. Configuring the Key Modules in Costing, including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling and Profitability Analysis.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS, Business Administration or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Working with business and IT teams for requirements gathering, business analysis, gap analysis, process mapping, business process reengineering, conceptual and detailed design, work plans, baseline and final configuration, unit test scripts, integration test plans and script and regression testing;


* Building training materials, providing training, and executing cutover plan activities and go live support;


* Conducting assessments of current system and business architecture, providing Knowledge Transfer documents, and preparing the system for the Production migration;


* Designing systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions;


* Configuring the Key Modules in Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Banking, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting;


* Configuring the Key Modules in Costing, including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling and Profitability Analysis.




* In the alternative, employer will accept 3 years of university study and 3 years of experience.


* Any suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable.


* 80% travel required.
