Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Senior, Core Business Operations, Cloud Engineering in Costa Mesa, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally

Work You'll Do

Advising on strategy and designing and implementing, migrating, and operating cloud solutions including cloud operations optimization, native development, integration, and as-a-service based services. Directing large technology engagements and participating in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Creating clear, effective, and detailed deliverable content, including written, visual, and oral deliverables, which are informed by research, analytics, and client meetings. Presenting content that addresses client needs in solutioning sessions to drive toward a decision, and validating that decision with client leadership to drive the company's growth and progress. Assessing and diagnosing a problem and analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Designing reference architectures for Native High-Performance Analytic Appliances, different business process reporting solutions, Infrastructure Monitoring setup and Deployment and Migration guides. Architecting and conducting induction sessions of cutting edge technology solutions for high availability and disaster recovery of customer's mission critical applications utilizing Kubernetes services in cloud. Integrating different SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) applications for customer benefits including low cost, performance, usage of new functionalities. Performing the implementation of the Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence applications to synchronize manufacturing operations with back-office standardize business data. Defining cost effective upgrade plans for various SAP solutions and developing tools to automate regular business operations/processes.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field.


* Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have two years of experience with:
* Designing reference architectures for Native High-Performance Analytic Appliances, different business process reporting solutions, Infrastructure Monitoring setup and Deployment and Migration guides;


* Architecting and conducting induction sessions of cutting edge technology solutions for high availability and disaster recovery of customer's mission critical applications utilizing Kubernetes services in cloud;


* Integrating different SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) applications for customer benefits including low cost, performance, usage of new functionalities;


* Performing the implementation of the Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence applications to synchronize manufacturing operations with back-office standardize business data;

* 80% travel required.
