Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Master, Core Business Operations, Ops Transformation in McLean, VA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Designing and developing solutions to software issues. Providing customizations of software to increase efficiency of client processes. Assessing client needs and develop software designs to meet these needs. Delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Advising, designing, implementing, and deploying solutions to transform core business operations germane to specific sectors. Responsibilities include, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients. Participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Performing role of counselor and coach. Actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities. Providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Engaging in research and analysis to derive insight on the needs of diverse customers to enable global Fortune 500 companies to drive innovation and achieve new market/industry penetration and growth in specific targeted geographies. Conducting customer segmentation and map out the journey of these customers through the company's processes. Identifying and addressing the unique needs and challenges of different customer segments to perform targeted data collection and analytics that results in solutions for clients, including differential targeted strategies by geography. Driving innovative and transformative solutions for global Fortune 500 companies that address their next generational needs. Conducting detailed analyses in focused specialty areas to draw conclusions, and developing pertinent and insightful recommendations based on structured frameworks. Creating pricing models. Analyzing digital platforms and their ability to engage users from different demographics, as well as the risk potential for negative user experience. Utilizing critical and analytical thinking skills to assist in determining the requirements of clients' projects and programs through defining, analyzing, and managing data sets to meet client needs and expectations. Utilizing OpenText Content Server development tools, including Eclipse Plugins, to develop Oscript code required by the client. Performing Legacy Data Migration assessments for SAP/Mainframe, and evaluating strategic migration scenarios to Enterprise Content Management (ECM) utilizing ECM solutions including Opentext, Documentum, and Alfresco. Developing ECM systems using OpenText Modules including Workflow, WebReports, LiveReports, StreamServe, Capture Center, and Extended ECM (xECM). Developing ECM systems using Web Technologies including Java, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript and JQuery. Applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methods to project delivery including Agile, Scrum, and project delivery experience using JIRA and HP Agile Manager. Performing Database Administration, Development, and Reporting for enterprise applications using MS Structured Query Language (SQL) Server and Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Five years of progressively responsible experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have five years of experience with:
* Utilizing OpenText Content Server development tools, including Eclipse Plugins, to develop Oscript code required by the client;


* Performing Legacy Data Migration assessments for SAP/Mainframe, and evaluating strategic migration scenarios to ECM utilizing ECM solutions including Opentext, Documentum, and Alfresco;


* Developing ECM systems using OpenText Modules including Workflow, WebReports, LiveReports, StreamServe, Capture Center, and xECM;


* Developing ECM systems using Web Technologies including Java, HTML, JavaScript and JQuery;


* Applying SDLC methods to project delivery including Agile, Scrum, and project delivery experience using JIRA and HP Agile Manager;


* Performing Database Administration, Development, and Reporting for enterprise applications using MS SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS.




* 80% travel required.
