This Special Applications Developer will be responsible for:

* Participating as a project team member on practice specific or PPOC wide projects as assigned.
* Working with the Epic Administrative Application Team Lead to monitor product development and working with vendor to keep staff current on all system optimizations and upgrades.
* Performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software. Understanding the choices involved in application configuration, and impact/opinions of end-users.
* Developing and maintaining proper documentation of support and customization materials for the activities and tasks assigned.
* Preparing and keeping current documentation for internal processes, system work-flow, and testing scripts.
* Supporting training and implementations, as needed.
* Providing Tier-2 support for the application and troubleshooting problems and questions from end users.
* Analyzing new functionality in releases to determine how it should be used.
* Being part of the team to review and test each new release.
* Being familiar with physician practices' workflows and patient experiences within your organization.

To qualify you must have:

* The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or licensed healthcare professional desirable and four plus years of previous related experience.
* A minimum of 3 years of implementation experience as an Epic Cadence or Prelude Analyst.
* The analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application or technical principles, theories and concepts and in‑depth, cross‑functional experienced‑based knowledge.
* Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well‑developed writing skills.
* Experience with Electronic Health Records, Practice Management Systems software and applications.
* Experience working with process owners and users in gathering requirements, creating specifications, system design, and application design.
* Willingness travel to Epic headquarters in Verona, WI to attend training classes, as needed.
