This Spec I, Applications Support will be responsible for:

* Supporting end users including administrative and clinical staff , often providing high level assistance in specialized or contentious situations.
* Assisting users by promptly answering questions or resolving problems pertaining to computers, related to both hardware and software.
* Leading and assisting teammates by providing tools that streamline the support process, by coaching, and by pitching in during emergencies.
* Demonstrating in depth knowledge necessary to support users both over the phone as well as at the desk side.
* Acting as a resource to less experienced Computer Support technicians.
* Providing positive and effective customer service.
* Routinely visiting satellite locations to ensure operational stability as well as build trust and cooperation.
* Analyzing system applications and defines information systems requirements.
* Actively searching out areas for service improvement and offers suggestions/initiates process and system improvements.
* Preparing formal management reports detailing support needs and outcomes.
* Being able to represent manager or supervisor at meetings, during crises, and or as interim leader for vacation coverage.
* Being able to oversee larger projects or tasks and coordinate other team members.
* Assisting in specifying and delivering appropriate communication or training for end users and or teammates.
* Dealing with and supporting department specific and hospital wide clinical systems which may require using some of these systems to ensure ongoing familiarity from a user perspective.

To qualify, you must have:

* Two plus years' of related work experience including 2 to 4 years prior experience providing computer support is preferred and previous prior team/project leadership experience.
* Experience with RedCap software preferred
* Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based cross functional knowledge.
