ROLE SUMMARY

Solutions Delivery Scrum Master & UAT Lead Manager is responsible for the end-to-end oversight and effectiveness of the Agile development framework within Business Application Platforms (BAP) supporting the assigned Digital Technology business line as well as ensuring Pfizer's world-class IT infrastructure services and solutions have been tested for stability, security and performance and efficacy against stated business requirements (user stories & epics).

The Scrum Master responsibilities include managing a single development pipeline as well as ensuring delivery timeliness and outcome quality for assigned user stories & epics. The Scrum Master will provide conflict resolution, remove impediments, facilitate cross-team engagements, and ensure effective & timely decision making.

The UAT responsibilities include leading highly complex testing efforts to ensure the testing inputs/outputs/outcomes are fulfilled successfully with efficient and effective best practices. The role is also responsible for developing consistency and governance.

This role will report directly to the Director, Solutions Delivery within Business Application Platforms focused on delivering solutions for the Safety, Regulatory, Medical & Risk Mgmt

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

* Maintain accountability for the development cycle of assigned user stories & epics supporting a specific Digital Technology business line.
* Interact with other Scrum Masters within Business Application Platforms Solution Delivery for the collective management of the BAP backlog, and prioritization of user stories & epics.
* Provide a direct interface to customer development pipelines for the purposes of establishing a continuous integration, continuous deployment flow between Digital Technology and Enterprise Platforms & Security.
* Maintain a risk register, and work with the functional towers across the BAP development continuum (Engineering, Operations & Service Management) to resolve conflicts and remove impediments.
* Provide Agile pipeline guidance and input for guiding the development teams and addressing any gaps that may exist in the framework.
* Maintain end-to-end visibility of assigned sprints and provide regular communication to key stakeholders on the progress of development efforts.
* Facilitate cross-functional engagements where required to address complex technology development challenges.Encourage discussion, debate and ultimately decision making.
* Provide change management governance over established stories/epics and sprints-in-flight to maintain continuity of development and to avoid disruption, confusion, and inefficiency.
* Work with other Scrum Masters to maintain a comprehensive resourcing model with views of current utilization and loading thresholds.Contribute to scoping and prioritization through a view of total available capacity for work.

UAT Responsibilities:

* Ensures adherence to appropriate Pfizer UAT testing standards
* Creates, maintains and executes user acceptance testing across application groups
* Ensures strict adherence to testing plans, reporting /escalating all serious deviations
* Understands the workflows required to support testing event
* Plans, coordinate and manages multi-disciplinary testing events, which can vary from small to large teams of participants
* Regularly meets with users and Service Delivery team members to develop/modify/test scripts based on the system specifications to ensure quality and usability and functionality
* Assists teams with execution of test cases and scripts as identified per test process
* Ensures that testing participants are properly trained in performance if their duties as required
* Provides test development support and guidance to other team members as required
* Provides tracking and reporting issues, defects and outcomes of testing cycles to appropriate stakeholders
* Suggests and actively participates in test process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 6-8 years of related pharmaceutical experience required.
* 2+ years of experience with Agile-based development frameworks in an application and/or infrastructure context is required. Previous experience as a Scrum Master is preferred.
* 7+ years of experience in client facing roles where delivery obligations are achieved through other teams
* Relevant experience in the manufacturing & enabling finance business areas.
* Demonstrated understanding of key Agile techniques including user stories, backlog & prioritization, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, etc.
* Demonstrated business acumen and ability to stay abreast of business issues that impact solution teams
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to indirectly influence key partners and stakeholders
* Candidate must have experience in developing test plans and test cases and setting up testing locations and test tracking process
* Experience in documenting defect tracking and reporting to appropriate stakeholders
* Demonstrated understanding of key Agile techniques including user stories, backlog & prioritization, Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, etc.
* Demonstrated business acumen and ability to stay abreast of business issues that impact solution teams
* Excellent communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with infrastructure service such as hosting platforms, containers, storage and data protection as well as security and network.
