Job Description

As a Solutions Architect, you will use your strong combination of sales and technical skills on the front line with our customers to understand their business and technical needs in order to define an overall solution. You will be a conduit into product management and engineering, ensuring that customer feedback is incorporated into customer solution architectures.

Responsibilities

* Plan, lead and document technical discussions with customers capturing their requirements and mapping them to the different Bsquare and partner options that may meet their expectations
* Primary technical partner for salespeople in customer discussions
* Prepare material and training to upskill the sales team where possible to ensure they continuously improve their own technical capabilities and ability to handle customer calls without Solution Architect assistance
* Author and develop demonstrations and use cases as required to showcase our services and solutions, where possible aligning with customer environments
* Educate customers on advanced technical concepts such as data analytics and machine learning and how to apply those insights to business processes and workflows
* Create reference architectures that combine Bsquare software and services, existing customer systems and Bsquare partner offerings that are specific by industry (transportation, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc)
* Develop content for proposals detailing the customer problem statement and how Bsquare software and services address those needs
* Provide responses to customer RFI/RFP documents
* Capture voice of the customer feedback to guide future product/service releases
* Provide information needed for a smooth transition of the customer into the implementation project by professional services
