General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate opportunity for a Solutions Architect to help grow various Federal Civilian accounts.

* Acts as a subject matter expert to multiple tasks and/or programs.
* Serve as liaison with senior clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
* Engage current and perspective customers to understand client needs, socialize and vet solutions, and advise on strategies to shape acquisitions that achieve results.
* Supports capture and proposal efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business by developing technical solutions for capture strategy and proposal responses.
* Collaborate with GDIT technical service areas and lines of business to identify and bring the best technical and business strategies and solutions to differentiate GDIT.
* May provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced IT staff and may have supervisory responsibilities.
* Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology.
* Participates in special projects as required.

We can only accept US citizens and or Green Card Holders. The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 180 cumulative days.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or the equivalent combinatio of education, technical training, or work/military experience

Qualifications

* 15 or more years of IT experience.
* Strong, articulate communication skills knowing the right level of technical detail to include for various audiences (i.e., executive, technical, etc.).
* Strong working knowledge of application development, cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure services.
