As a Solutions Architect, you should have a strong technical understanding of BuildZoom solutions and our customers'/partners' businesses gleaned from deep industry knowledge. This enables you to convey how solution features help address business challenges. You should also have a knack for solving complex problems and combine technical knowledge with exceptional project management skills to ensure customer/partner success. You will support customers/partners through the sales cycle, assisting with pre-sales technical knowledge along with ownership of Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) and successful solution launches. In addition, you should understand our prospects' solution requirements and help them validate those requirements against BuildZoom's solutions, identifying any technical risks and providing mitigation strategies when needed. You also must be able to communicate prospect, customer and partner needs and provide product feedback to engineering, product management, marketing and sales.
* Analyzing the technology and business environment by developing strong relationships with customers and partners along with internal team members * Assess enterprise-specific requirements by driving technical discussions with customers, IT and data/analytics teams to address data and solutions requirements * Document customer and partner needs, understanding their use cases and proactively guiding them through their solution options * Prescribe solutions and provide insights regarding BuildZoom's unique value propositions * Perform solution demonstrations virtually and in-person, including translating technical information for a variety of audiences * Work with customers and partners, creating a solution proof-of-concept (POC) plan and project managing the POC to ensure success * Assist with technical elements of proposals and agreements that map to the agreed-upon requirements * Help sales and business development teams close and launch customer/partner initiatives with well-documented project plans * Provide project management leadership for strategic customers and partners to ensure successful implementation of BuildZoom solutions * Share sales, business development and product insights to the product management team to facilitate new features and updates * Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales and business development plans and results * Maintain professional and technical knowledge of BuildZoom solutions by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies * Contribute to solutions architect effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives * Contribute to overall team effort by over-achieving assigned targets
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a project manager, solutions architect, sales engineer or technical business development * Strong project management and communication skills, including the ability to make effective customer presentations * Strong leadership skills to own and lead all technical aspects of the sales and customer success processes * Ability to simultaneously manage multiple customers/partners, opportunities and projects * Experience creating detailed RFI/RFP proposals and implementation plans
