As the Solutions Architect you support the company's sales growth and customer satisfaction metrics by providing pre- and post-sales support to customers and channel partners. At the direction of the Sales Director, you will work with targeted end-users and resellers to drive specifications for RFQs, prepare technical responses to issued RFQs, respond to technical inquiries, and engage and coordinate any post-sales support required. You will manage and coordinate POCs (proof of concept)/customer trials, provide trade-show support as needed and assist in ensuring project deliveries and implementations are successful.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Research, assess, plan and document solution strategies to address end-user wants and needs and help internal and external cross functional teams address these requirements in a pragmatic and useful fashion.
* Act as subject matter expert for available products within our portfolio to serve customer needs.
* Evangelize product assortment through validated customer use cases.
* Assist the end-user sales teams in articulating the product's capabilities and vision, value proposition to customers in quality/operations/engineering/planning, and crafting deployment architectures.
* Provide competitive product knowledge and research. Maintain a competitive matrix or tool for use by the sales team and/or partners
* Lead Customer Proof of Concept (CPOC's)/customer trials. Lead scope definition, target architecture and test requirements and make the trials successful and ensure the observations (as built, as used) are fed into the product development process.
* Align business requirements and best practices to implement a winning solution.
* Work with the QA team to develop test scenarios, defining use cases, test requirements, performance targets test plans and summarizing test conclusions and assessing test issues. Ensures the QA Team is testing real customer scenarios.
* Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects.
* Support product demonstrations at internal labs, demo labs, and/or trade shows and conferences.
* Collaborate with Product Managers and Development Managers for product roadmaps as well as presentation content especially regarding customers, configurations, and competitive and industry information.
* Serve as an escalation point for the customer. Own bug identification, resolution, and interface effectively with the development team, QA, Customer Advocacy, and product management.
* Manage complex deployments for the highest levels of customer satisfaction while positioning for new revenue opportunities and ongoing renewals.
* Travel per customer requirements.

* Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001, understand and fully support ISO system.
* Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
* Effectively work across internal functional groups in order to manage and execute to customer expectations.

Candidate Profile, Skills and Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years' experience supporting end-user customers as a Solutions Architect, preferably combined with a BS or BA degree in Technology or equivalent degree.
* Desire and aptitude to deliver technical solutions to customers
* Excellent knowledge of networking and computing products, architectures, and trends
* Customer presence and project management skills
* Strong verbal and written skills
* Security Clearance or experience working with government and military customers preferred
* Ability to travel within the United States and Canada
* Open and engaging collaboration style
* High level of energy and initiative
* Routinely demonstrates proactive and tenacious approach to customer success by aligning customer and Belkin objectives for a win-win outcome
