Maven Wave is looking to hire experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to work with customers to deploy cutting edge solutions. Solutions Architects are self-motivated individuals with a proven track record of delivering results in software/technology sales or consulting.

Ideally, you're someone who can write code with the best of them, but also wants to help guide the broader industry towards a technology you believe in. You have immediate credibility with technologists and developers at all levels, from students to CIOs. You will provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations. You will develop and leverage industry standards, patterns, and practices to ensure repeatability and standardization. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting opportunities to do so.

As a Solutions Architect at Maven Wave, you will partner with customers, account managers, business development, engineering, and product teams to craft scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our new services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad range of customers.

Requirements:

* BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree (MS is a plus)
* 8+ years of object-oriented language development with either Java, C++, or C# or equivalent
* 5+ years of script development experience using a language such as Python, Ruby, or PHP
* 2+ years of front-end web development experience
* Broad knowledge of development tools including source code repositories, IDEs, build tools, artifact management, automated testing, static and dynamic code analyzers
* Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
* Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, refactoring, test-driven development
* Hands-on experience with continuous deployment and DevOps tools and processes
* Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores and implementing big data analytics using technologies like Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB
* Understanding of security requirements and secure code development practices
* Familiarity with machine learning
* Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum project teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams
