Software Test Engineer, Data Management PlatformAbout theteam:The Data Management Platform (DMP) Team at Appnexus, a Xandr Company,ensures the success of our customers by building a wide array of applications, at scale,tothemmanage their user and audience data.Wepoweraudience discovery and insightsandprovidetools to support powerful integrations to our buying and selling platforms.We are a high impact team,responsible for critical systems,building new products and solving tough problems.About the job:The day to day will entail empowering DMP to deliver high-impact, high-quality features quickly. This involves building and onboarding test tools, frameworks and ensuring appropriate test coverage to improve the quality of deliverables while accelerating the speed to market.Also,you'll:Collaborate with Product and Engineering to develop a comprehensive Test Plan that validates product functionality.Develop automated tests following defined best practices.Develop and execute tests at all levels of the testing pyramid.Triage and resolve automated test failures with product engineers directly.Drive adoption of CI (continuous integration) and CD (continuous deployment).Be a critical participant in the defect management process.Use root cause analysis of bugs to determine appropriate test coverage.Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle: from design and development, to deployment and maintenance.Share your knowledge, guide and mentor other engineers.Aboutyour skills:At least3-5years of experience in software engineering.Including:Any back-end language, language, such as Golang, Java or C.Developing software and/or tests in HTML, JavaScript, CSS or node.JS.Buildingautomated testing frameworks.Working with continuous integration systems, build process automation and application deployment.Knowledge ofcomputer science fundamentals(i.e.cooperative and preemptive multi-tasking, asynchronous and event-driven programming, object oriented and functional languages, design principles and complexity management)Strong knowledge of and an interest indistributed computing.Abilityto work independently and make use of your time effectively.Excellent communicationskills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders, engineers and management.Solid organizational skills to manage competing priorities.Moreabout you:You are passionate about a culture of learning and teaching.
