Job Description

In this role you have the opportunity to

Work as part of a team to deliver Quality Assurance (QA)/Validation and Verification (V&V) services to complex software application solutions and hardware products within Philips Aging & Caregiving. This role works with the project team to deliver the QA/V&V service in accordance with our defined quality system.

You are responsible for

* Contribution to the product design and creation of testable requirements for compliance with technical specifications as well as customer satisfaction
* Ensure that products are tested in adherence to the applicable FDA regulations (FDA/ISO13485) and best practices
* Review requirements specification documents and develop Test plans/Test cases
* Defines, documents and executes tests cases to reveal potential defects
* Create automated tests as appropriate using established framework
* Executes manual and automated tests
* Communicates status at task level with clarity to project leadership
* Perform Hardware, Software, Application, GUI and Back-End testing
* Applies ingenuity and determination to find the best possible options to support business needs
* Enters bugs within the defect tracking system
* Determines bug priorities and verifies bug fixes

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Engineering or related area
* 6+ years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience/Test Management/Test Plan Creation/Test Lifecycle
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Proficient in data structures and understands database design to script and execute SQL statements to perform database testing & troubleshooting.
* CTI testing experience with the following technology stacks-PEGA PRPC, Geneys, Avaya and XMPP
* Proficient with requirements gathering tools
* Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
* Knowledge of web and client/server technologies, relational databases, network and infrastructure
* Positive "can-do" attitude with a focus on the success of the team over individual success
