About the role

Are you looking to take your next step in a start-up environment offering room for you to grow? As a Software Quality Assurance Associate, you have an exciting opportunity to join the New Business Operations team in charge of setting-up and running the sales operations of iptiQ, a new US business unit within a global organization. You will be responsible for the design and execution of test plans and test cases that ensure the quality of the software on each release. You will work closely with test automation engineers and QA lead to further automate the testing process to achieve efficiency and improve quality. You will also analyze and resolve production issues and provide production support to other units in iptiQ.

As part of this role, you will:

§ Review business requirements, identify test scenarios and estimate test effort;

§ Create test plans, conduct testing and provide test sign-off;

§ Use appropriate tools for testing execution;

§ Maintain a regression test suite;

§ Create new test templates and scripts;

§ Conduct production testing and post-production monitoring as necessary; and

§ Be a problem solver: analyze issues, identify root causes, propose solutions and consistently track issue resolution.

You will also:

§ Expertly use tools to streamline testing process;

§ Work very closely with the business partners and external solution vendors; and

§ Develop knowledge of processes and systems across all front end functions, including intersections with other functional units and external vendors and partners.

About You

§ You have a first experience in a quality assurance role in an e-commerce environment. You understand Software Test Life Cycle and Test Methodologies.

§ You are familiar with different tools supporting test automation, such as Selenium, Cucumber, MySQL, Eclipse IDE, Core Java, Appium, Soap UI Pro/Ready API and XSD/JSON Schema validation.

§ You are familiar with agile environments.

§ You are resourceful in overcoming barriers to achieve objectives. You can handle multiple assignments with overlapping delivery dates. You learn how to use new tools quickly.

§ You demonstrate a creative mindset with a strong interest in new technologies. You are hands-on and enjoy resolving problems.

§ You effectively communicate business issues, objectives and scope. You have strong presentation skills and enjoy working within a rapidly changing environment.

§ You are passionate about delivering customer value and seamless customer experience. You are detailed oriented and take pride in delivering high quality results.
