Job Description Job Profile Bose's next generation of connected products leverage an ever-expanding software stack to bring awesome new audio-based experiences to our customers. To help accelerate our development efforts, we are looking for a technically strong Software Program/Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate loves to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage the delivery of software features that simply delight the customer. They have a proven track record of delivering software features, preferably on embedded systems, by leveraging both mobile applications and cloud services. Job Description We are looking for exceptional candidates who can: Coordinate and synchronize multiple software development teams and other internal groups to design, build, test, and release software on time and with high quality. Do the right things to drive architectural convergence, requirements management, work breakdown and release planning, and risk and interdependency management. Engage appropriately to quickly make the right trade-offs, escalate issues if required, and build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and senior management. Demonstrate solid organizational and leadership skill, strong written and verbal communication talent, and an appropriate aptitude for user experience design, software development and test methodologies, and hardware/software integration. Prior experience required: Cross-functional program/project management involving software features for modern connected devices. Strong familiarity with mobile application and cloud service technologies, preferably with exposure to embedded systems. Experience with modern voice service integration and streaming technology is highly desired. Pragmatically-minded Agile software development. Management of 3rd party development partners. Prior software development and test experience, preferably in mass market consumer electronics. Education and Experience: BS in software engineering, computer science, or other appropriate field; advanced degrees welcome but not required.
