The Labs & Technical Services F-35 Shared Simulation Software team is looking for a dynamic, innovative leader to serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the SSS Agile Release Train (ART).

The SSS ART produces simulation systems which support the development, integration, testing, verification, and validation of the F-35 Mission Systems Operational Flight Program (OFP) software in both hardware-in-the-loop and man-in-the-loop venues. The ART is comprised of six-to-eight Scrum teams.

The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. The candidate will participate on the Change Control Board to assess, prioritize, action, delegate, and review anomaly reports, change requests and innovation ideas. The position requires frequent and effective interaction with the technical staff and leadership as well as functional leadership up to and including the Director level.

Labs & Technical Services is a highly innovative organization, responsible for developing and maintaining manned aircraft weapon simulation systems utilized for weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Our products are used to advance weapon systems development, strengthen pilot familiarization, assess human factors, evaluate aircraft control laws, improve mission study effectiveness, provide test capabilities required for contract verification and provide integration testing and verification capabilities for aircraft systems and software.
