Description:Lockheed Martin Laser and Sensor Systems delivers innovative laser solutions for the defense, aerospace, industrial, and scientific markets. This position will provide software and hardware integration support for development and production activity at Bothell and gives guidance to other LM sites. This exciting work will include the design, development, documentation, testing, debugging, and deployment of automated test stations that qualify our laser systems. This includes creating and managing the architecture for data acquisition and configuration management of the software. They should be able to apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
The candidate must be comfortable within a rapid development environment; able to execute within short timelines and a given budget. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, excellent computer systems and network literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment.

The Locale: Bothell is a city located in the state of Washington in the Pacific Northwest. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area.
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
* LabWindows or C++ experience
* Integrated software and hardware for test systems
Has extensive knowledge in creating LabWindows code that receives hardware data and electronic board messaging and export that data for engineering analysis.
