Position Title: Software Engineer - Windows Mobile (Contract)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This contract position is responsible for supporting Windows CE, Windows Mobile, and Windows Embedded integrations, applications and tools to support M2M modules. We are looking for an experienced software engineer with good communication & organization skills for our customer.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, test and debug WinCE, Windows Mobile, and Windows Embedded USB driver, RIL driver, and applications running with our line GSM/HSPA, LTE, and/or CDMA modules.
* Work with OEM partners and team members to integrate drivers and reference source code into OEM devices, and provide ongoing customer and product support.
* Work with engineering teams across our various international engineering centers to achieve desired goals.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Engineering or related experience
* 3+ years Windows CE or Windows development experience using Visual Studio C++ and/or Platform Builder
* Experience with debugging Windows embedded systems, especially with USB and power management
* Experience in working with wireless systems (GSM, HSPA, LTE, or CDMA) and wireless applications such as cellular voice, SMS, and data
* Experience with developing Windows CE drivers a plus. Experience with Radio Interface Layer (RIL) development a plus
* Knowledge of software development best practices including QA testing and configuration management
* Must be able to understand and explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
* Must have strong interpersonal skills and strong initiative.
