CACI is seeking a Software Engineer in our Sterling, VA office. The ideal candidate will have a TS/SCI clearance, 7+ years of experience performing full life-cycle systems engineering. Candidates are expected to have excellent communication and oral skills and work well in a small team environment. Candidates should be familiar with Systems Engineering concepts in a software development environment and have previous integration and test experience.

What You'll Get to Do:

You will guide the development of new functionality for an existing system, from the requirements analysis and design phases, through development, integration, test, and deployment. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who can understand technical concepts, clearly communicate them to a varying range of audiences/understanding levels and collaborate on technical direction with the development team.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

o Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience with full life-cycle software development (analysis, design, development, test, deployment, maintenance)

o Experience in rapid, agile development efforts

o Java, JDBC, multi-threaded code

o Web services (SOAP, REST, etc…)

o Display technology and User Interface development

o Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems

o Database Management Systems and SQL

o Software configuration management processes / tools

o Experience with mission management/planning systems

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

o Experience with Messaging and/or ESB Technologies

o Experience with Java Swing

o Experience with Spring and Web framework development

o Experience with LDAP

o Experience with Map technologies and services

o Experience in virtualized operations and deployment

o Experience with git version control system

o Currency with latest development technologies and applications
